1. The Making of the English Working Class 

A non-fiction book, which was written by E.P. Thompson in 1963, about the life-experiences of people from the British working class from the year 1780 to the year 1832. In his writing, he describes how the working poor class formed and how they sought to reform the negative effects of the Industrial Revolution.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.  The Intellectual Life of the British Working Classes

Jonathan Rose reveals the experiences of people in the working class from the time before Industrialism until the 20th century in his non-fiction book, which was published by Yale University in 2010. Rose uses evidence from the Industrial Revolution in order to illustrate what life was like for people who were poor at the time when David Copperfield was written.
